On Immigration

immigrantsThis debacle we call the “immigration debate” is a really strange one. People play games with their words in an attempt to circumvent the real issues at hand, and gain upper ground in the debate, all the while causing damage to underlying problems.

First of all, there is no debate that immigration is a good thing. We or our ancestors were all immigrants at one time or another. Most of our ancestors worked hard and long to make it to America in order to provide a better life for their children. This is not something we can debate, as it is historically proven to be so. The problem that we have today has nothing to do with how those that came before us made it to these shores. It has to do with how the “immigrants” are coming here today, and why they come here, along with how they acclimate into the American way of life.

In today’s world we have two types of people that come to the U.S. We have those that came here as our ancestors did. We have those that came here to make a better life in a new country, and we have those that come here in order to take what they can, without any deep-seated wish to become part of this country and to make things better. They have no pride in the new country they are headed for, and they seem have no wish to acclimate and become part of the community of Americans that they seek to join. They sneak across our borders and enter our country illegally. These are of course legally known as “Illegal Aliens”. That is the legal term for them and that is the term that I will use here, as well as elsewhere.

Illegal Aliens are predominantly from Mexico. If one were to research the Mexican economy it would become apparent as to why people from illegal-aliens-group1Mexico might want to come to the U.S., and I have no problem with that. I have known many legal immigrants from Mexico, and have also worked with a few in my profession. These legal immigrants are normally hard-working professionals that came here for the love of a better life – much as our ancestors did. They will end up being a proud example to their home country, and I have nothing but admiration for them. The Illegal Aliens, on the other hand, are an embarrassment to themselves and their country, and as statistics have shown, they are a drain to our country and the taxpayer’s financial resources.

Many Illegal Aliens are criminals both in their own country and the U.S., yet they are allowed to enter almost unimpeded, and even encouraged to do so by our Socialist/Fascist government. One can only guess as to the motives of our criminal politicians, but I have heard it stated more than once that allowing this invasion could be considered an attempt to dilute the mean I.Q. of the U.S., along with diluting the sovereign individual attitude that has made this country great. When you consider that the average¬†I.Q. of Mexico is around 88, and the average I.Q. in the U.S is 98, then you throw into the mix the fact that the people sneaking across the border are not the doctors, engineers, scientists and lawyers, you will have a clearer picture of what we are getting – the “trailer trash” of Mexico. The low end of society that either could not make it, or that were too lazy to make it, in their own country. They come here and are literally given a new life without the need to take any responsibility for our legal system or their behaviors. Their only attribute to this country is that they will be a voter base for one party or the other, and so they are voters that are bought and paid for. We’ve all seen the statistics on the benefits these criminals receive, and it is obvious that they are treated much better than our own veterans, along with many other groups.

Again I state that I and most other people are not against immigration. My own kids are half-Hispanic. Their great grandparents came here LEGALLY from Mexico and made a better life for their families. They worked hard and build a respectable life. These illegals tarnish all that came before them with their reprehensible behaviors and their total lack of caring for our laws.

In the above I did not mention how this illegal invasion affects the unemployment of the young and other minorities. Perhaps that will be for a followup article.
